Shotblasting is one of the most effective surface preparation processes to refine the metal surface and remove any rust or debris. It is carried out by using an abrasive material at a rapidly moving pace against the steels surface. The process results in a smooth and clean surface which is then ready for the coating process. Effective shotblasting ensures a perfect finish when it comes to painting, powder coating or galvanising.

Our steel blasting process is carried out inhouse by our workshop team, and all steel that passes through the process is blasted to Swedish Standards SA2.5. Once blasting is completed, the steel goes through checks to ensure it is free from any dust or debris prior to the coating process. Once it is deemed suitable, the steel then moves onto the coating process in accordance with the client’s requirements.
