The Forge Mechanical Engineering was founded in 1916 by Walls. Since opening its doors, The Forge Mechanical has successfully adapted in all areas to serve the Irish construction industry including in technological, manufacturing and legislative areas. In recent decades it has evolved to gain extensive experience and become a key player in the steel industry.
Starting as mainly a company for producing farm implements, The Forge Mechanical has since evolved to partner with many of Irelands leading construction companies to provide them with complete engineering solutions.
Our 4 acre facility enables us to provide a complete array of services including Design, Fabrication of Mild and Stainless Steel, Protective Coating Services, Transportation and Installation. Having these services available allows our clients to avail of a fast and easy service for their project needs.
The Forge Mechanical is certified under EN1090, CE Mark (execution class 3) and ISO9001 QMS. Each project completed by us is unique and tailored to the clients needs. While continuously moving forward, The Forge Mechanical remains committed to improving and exceeding the expectations of our clients.

The Forge Mechanical Engineering is a leading fabrication company certified to carry out structural steel projects of all types. We are fully compliant with required regulations and currently hold the following certifications:
– CE marking (Execution Class 3)
– ISO 9001:2015
To achieve and retain our certifications, The Forge Mechanical Engineering completes annual audits. The audits are carried out by an external notified body to ensure our products and processes meet the required standards. These certifications help us to provide the best quality products to our clients.
Our certifications require certain standards to be met including, fully qualified fabrication/welding team, a Factory Production Control system in place, qualified in-house Responsible Welding Co-ordinators and traceability throughout the manufacturing process. The Forge Mechanical Engineering is fully committed to adhering to and implementing any new requirements that may arise in our annual certification process.
The Forge Mechanical is committed to providing quality products to our clients by using carefully chosen raw materials and working with carefully selected suppliers and sub-contractors. Our steel comes from our suppliers accompanied by steel mill certificates which meet CE marking standards. Throughout the draughting, fabrication and coating processes, various checks are carried out to ensure quality standards are being met, before the steel goes to site for installation by our experienced site crews.
